Emma Tuzzio
Nature has always been Emma’s greatest muse, filling her with inspiration at every turn. Inspired by growing up in rural Oxfordshire surrounded by rolling Cotswolds hills, her love of the natural world grew tremendously and unearthed a passion for conservation. After completing her degree in Visual Communication with a First-Class honours, Emma exhibited in the Mall galleries as part of a group show, and undertook commissions in Children’s book illustration. She now focusses on painting native wildlife using pastel, aimed at capturing the beauty, innocence and sentience of animals. Emma wishes to convey the beauty and wonder of our natural world, which she hopes will inspire others to protect our precious planet for generations to come. She believes that beauty helps people connect deeper to nature, and when we connect, we care, and what we care about we protect. Emma is also a trained Wellbeing Arts practitioner, Mindfulness teacher and Forest Bathing guide. She runs nature themed art groups for adults helping them to harness the therapeutic effects of connecting deeper with nature. She now lives and works in Crowborough, East Sussex, once again immersed in the natural beauty of the Ashdown forest and the South Downs National Park.
